Youth Leaders Shine at Regional Conference

Last week, our Youth Leadership Program participants attended the Regional Youth Conference, where they joined over 200 young Aboriginal leaders from across Victoria.

The three-day conference featured workshops on public speaking, project management, cultural leadership, and community development. Our young people shone brightly, presenting their community projects and sharing their vision for the future.

One of the highlights was the cultural night, where participants performed traditional dances and shared stories from their communities. Our team's performance of the Corroboree dance received a standing ovation.

The conference concluded with a leadership summit where young people developed action plans for community projects. Our team proposed a youth mental health initiative that was selected as one of the top projects to receive funding.

We're incredibly proud of our young leaders and look forward to seeing their projects come to life in the coming months.
