Women's Weaving Circle
Women's Weaving Circle
Women's Weaving Circle is a weekly gathering where Aboriginal women come together to practise traditional weaving and basket making, passed down through generations of cultural knowledge.
Beyond the craft itself, the circle is a space for connection, conversation and emotional wellbeing — many participants describe it as a quiet, grounding part of their week spent alongside other women in community.
No experience is necessary; materials and guidance are provided, and new participants are always welcome to join at any session.
